HOW TO SURVIVE FROM TROUBLE

Since we have been experiencing hardship all over the world, especially here in the Philippines, that due to typhoon Ondoy, many people died and left most of our countrymen homeless, streets are still in floods. It is so hard to think even more of having a good time right, but I believe that in every trials and troubles that comes our way God has a purpose for it.

I want to share with you the good news, our preacher shared with us during our prayer meeting last Friday, October 9,2009.

HOW TO SURVIVE FROM TROUBLE?

T- talk to God in prayer. The Lord never will forsake those people who seek for His mighty help. Talk to God about your troubles in prayer and He will answer all the questions and things that hard to understand. Our 911 line to God is from Jeremiah 33:3 " Ask me and I will tell you things that you don't know and can't find".

R - remember God's goodness. In this world we will experience trials and great troubles but while we are in that situation, always remember God's goodness to us. All the blessings He gave and provided. Remember also that God continue to work for the goodness of people whom he loved and those who follow His will.

O-obey the leading of the Holy Spirit. We have to listen to what the Holy Spirit is telling us. God's Spirit should be our guide in order for us to have a prosperous and happy life. The Spirit give us Life.

U -understand God's purpose behind trouble. We have to realize from our selves what the Lord wants to tell us out of this troubles. Maybe it is for us to become strong and re-affirmed our faithfulness to Him. God will not give us problem that we cannot endure. When we are weak, God is strong.

B- be positive. "Always keep your minds on whatever is true, pure, right, holy, friendly and proper. Don't EVER stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise" (Philippians 4:8). People who give up never wins, those who wins are people who never give up, remember that.

L - look unto Jesus. Many people have different believes but for us Christian, we believe that the only way to having everlasting life is through Jesus. Look unto Jesus for all the troubles we are experiencing right now. His yoke is easy to carry and His burden is light, come and seek Jesus and He will surely give us rest.

E - expect a way out. Trials and troubles may come and will surely never will leave us while we are in this world, but we have to believe and expect that there is always a way out of this
troubles.

I hope these messages will give you encouragement, may it increase your faith to God, and may it gives you hope that with God's help everything will definitely be fine.
